What to expect from your appointment in downtown Grand Rapids

To develop your custom treatment plan, your physical therapist will perform a physical examination of the painful areas during your first appointment. They will then review your medical history with you and ask some questions about your health and lifestyle.

After your examination is finished and a treatment plan is established, your physical therapist can begin working with you toward recovery. Appointments are usually finished within an hour. You may receive instructions for exercises and stretches to do at home. Following these instructions should help you achieve a faster recovery.
